how do you clear acne using alertnative medicine or holistic methods?
I don’t have health insurance and I’m allergic to many antibotics like sulfas and penicillin.

This may sound odd, but trust me on this. Take some regular oatmeal. Not that crazy flavored stuff. Smear it on your face, and leave it for about 10 minutes, then wash it off. Do this twice a day, and after about 4-5 days, you’ll see results. I’m not sure HOW it works, but I’ve been told it sucks all the oil and such out of your face.

Acne is one way your body is telling you to be healthier.
It means being more aware of what you’re eating, drinking and maybe even thinking.
Get proper rest- Clean your skin and body with really mild soaps- don’t scrub it just causes irritation and can increase infection. Change sheets and pillow cases more often.
Drink clear liquids, water, some juices- eat lots of fruit instead of sugar and bakery sweets. Eat more vegetables and less processed meats and fried foods.
Results will not happen instantly- it takes time to get acne and there is no magical cure, no matter what they say on TV.
Any medication or treatment from a dr. will only work better if try to follow these guidelines. good luck

You may not want this for an answer, but diet has a lot to do with skin conditions. If you are going through puberty or are a teen then you will most likely suffer some acne simply because of the hormones. I had bad acne as a teenager, but now only get it once a month and very little. My acne is due to hormone fluctuations. If your colon is clogged or full of caked up junk then it will begin to show up on your skin. Try doing a cleansing diet and stick to whole, unprocessed foods, whole grains, no sugar or artificial sweeteners. It is worth a try.
